Buttercup
New Beginnings!
I recently adopted an orange tabby named Duke, now called Buttercup. It's been a very smooth transition and Rocket Rescue was very responsive to my initial inquiries. The foster mom did an excellent job socializing this little guy. He is a real people cat and my adult cats readily took to him..well one, a 6 year old rescue named Theo, took about 5 days but now they're best buds, as you can see in the photo. I love Buttercup and will gladly recommend Rocket Rescue to others looking for a pet.

Koshi
I am so grateful that we were able to adopt Koshi (formerly Bufo). It’s obvious that he is very comfortable with us. I can’t thank you enough for letting us adopt this incredible cat. He is so loving!
He has been talking a little bit, but it seems he is constantly purring. He is a very happy cat!! I felt like I had a gigantic hole in my heart since Holly passed away last November. My heart is now full & even overflowing with Koshi’s love & affection. Bob is getting used to having a kitty around again. We both needed Koshi as much as he needed us!
Thank you again for taking time out of your weekend to bring Koshi to meet us.
It might sound corny, but I believe that 3 lives were permanently changed for the better today.

Rory
We can't believe how lucky we are to have him in our family! He is a sweetheart, in every way. On the other hand... our Chloe is having a hard time having her throne tipped! We are taking it slow and are introducing them very slowly. Rory aka Max, is raring to be part of everyday fun and he is so loving. Thank you for letting him be part of our family.

Squirrel
He is the love of my life! He is so happy! I love him so much! He has his own Instagram, called @monetetmoitoulejour. (French for Monet and Me Every Day!) He is quickly becoming one of the most photographed cats in the world! He is so precious! He slept the first two nights at the foot of the bed and now he sleeps right by my head. He is just too precious to believe! He is loving his toys, his wet food snackies in the afternoon, and has claimed the area under my bed as his own! He follows me from room to room meowing for pets. He literally will headbutt my phone out of my hand so I can be free to pet him with two hands as is his right! Thank you so much!!!! He is loving my comfy bed and also made my yoga mat his now!

Django
Django seems to be adapting quickly and I got my first purr from him...:) he likes running from room to room and out through the cat door. He spends a lot of time just looking at everything with wide eyes. So Pretty!

Luna
Luna (formerly Juniper) is still doing great! So far she is content being inside. She seems curious when we go out the door but she doesn’t try to bolt. We adore her!

Cricket
Cricket’s (formally known as Rita May) new name suits her well, she is full of puppy energy and jumps and plays like crazy! She is so smart and just the sweetest! She was a missing piece of our family puzzle. She loves to snuggle, play tug of war & fetch, untie your shoe laces and her new found love – playing in the snow. Our older dog, Goose and her made an instant bond. You will always find them together and if they are not, they are looking for each other.
Cricket is doing amazing in her potty training – it took her about a week at home with us and puppy treats. Happy to report we are going on week 2 with no accidents! She sleeps though the night and is spoiled rotten!
We ordered a DNA kit to find out exactly what mix of breeds she is. I am very excited to know her lineage and know more about this little girl that we love so much!

Frankie
Frankie (formerly known as Blue) has fit right in from the first day we brought him home! After the initial ‘whose toy is this’ with our little girl Sophie, they fell in love with one another and now they are like they are velcroed together! They run around, rough it up or hide and do their own thing together! They are crazy together and we love seeing them both happy!
He wakes both Patrick and me with a ton of kisses and demands we pet him all the time!
We are so thankful to Rocket Rescue for saving Frankie and bringing him to our lives! Moreover, we are so glad you were understanding of our schedule and waited for me to be back to bring him to his new home.
He is a breath of fresh air, he is smart, funny, curious and we just can’t have enough of him!
Thank you again for everything!

Bingo
Snow Day! Last night he ate, used the litter box, got lots of pets, explored the house, played with his toys, purred LOUDLY, and "talked" a lot. It's almost like, if he can't see you, he has to ask where you are. We meow back. LOL He slept with Ally for a little bit but was asleep under my bed this morning. He is a total sweetie! He is so funny the way the bats his mice across the room. He really gets into it!

Wally
Just wanted to send you an update on Tug. He is amazing! He had a completely quiet and incident-free first night. In fact, he has had zero accidents so far (fingers crossed). He is a perfect gentleman with the cats, gentle with my grandmother as well as my nieces and nephew, and gets along famously with my sister-in-law’s 1 year old pup Missy. Our local walking trails provide him lots of interest and he also spends a lot of time snoozing cuddled up on my lap. He also loves the beach! He gets groomed twice a day as practice for burr season and takes it really well. He is such a good dog!
We had a really hard time picking a name for so much character and joy. We finally settled on “Wally” (short for “Waldorf”).
We took him to our vet yesterday and she said he was in great shape. She gave us some breed-specific health tips to keep him at his best for as many years as possible.

Jack
We LOVE our big orange kitty! Mr. Charming, previously known as Jack, fits in so well with our family. He’s still adjusting to our other kitties but each day the hissing and growling reduces. He loves our dogs and shows them affection every day! He’s ferociously affectionate toward us which we enjoy!
One of the things we love the most about him is that he does a head tilt (like a dog) when he’s curious about something! He’s the first cat we’ve met that does this and it’s the cutest thing ever! Thank you again for allowing us to adopt this amazing cat!

Moosh
Mickey (M00sh is the new name now) is a real sweetheart!!!
He's been playing, eating, sleeping, using the litter box, like he's been in our house since forever :).
Thanks again for meeting us and bringing Mickey to us!
Quick update from us... Moosh got a playmate sister, same age. Her name is Layla, and we got her last Sunday. Moosh and she are so good together!

Jackson
Our boy is napping...snuggled on my lap. We stopped at the farm store in Sedro and he was a perfect gentleman meeting the other dogs and choosing a squeaky toy...I may regret that!
Jackson met the cat...sort of. Gilmore ran thru and down the stairs. Jackson stopped at the top of the stairs when I called him. He’s very tentative going down the stairs...seems like a new experience to him.
Had a good walk around the airport and saw a plane land...he showed interest, but no drive to chase (thank goodness). Found some elk poop and followed the scent but not terribly interested there either.
Tomorrow will call on training and vet visit.
