A helpful young couple found me wandering the streets of Mount Vernon as a teenager, and spent a few months giving me all kinds of delicious snacks (I particularly liked the Doritos) and teaching me how to be the sweet young man I am today. I am only a year old, with lots of life ahead of me to enjoy with the right person. I LOVE a good snack, and will eat almost anything, so there is a chance I could be taught to do a few tricks for the right person and the right treat!! I am a chatty guy, and love to have short conversations with my foster mom (in between purrs that is). 

I am very friendly once I have had a day to settle, and love to come sit next to you for all the pets. I can be a little sensitive about having hands sneaking up on me from behind (you've got to be alert in the streets you know!), so for that reason a home without children may be best. I would love an indoor only home with some people to get to know and call my own!
